Volunteer to become a Residential Representative
The plan requires willing representatives from the following residential areas as per the below map in Figure 1.
• 1 Representative from Longships East
- East of Longships Drive and South of Roche Bonne Avenue up to Griz Nez Avenue – indicated
in red in Figure 1.
1 Representative from Lower Whale Rock
South of Griz Nez Avenue up to the Robberg Vlei. Includes Diadem, Waif, Christina roads
and is indicated in purple in Figure 1.
• 1 Representative from Longships East
- East of Longships Drive and South of Roche Bonne Avenue up to Griz Nez Avenue – indicated
in red in Figure 1.
• 1 Representative from Maplin, Robberg West
West of Robberg Road and up to Maplin road bordering the Klein Piesangs Open Space –
indicated in green in Figure 1.
• 1 Representative from Robberg East, Longships West
East of Robberg Road, south of Roche Bonne and west of Longships roads up to Griz Nez
Avenue – Indicated in blue in Figure 1.
Willing persons will be required to work with the Municipality, CapeNature, relevant stakeholders
and other representatives of Plettenberg Bay to work towards a sustainable solution that deals with
Baboon-human conflict and meets the objectives and actions as set out above.
The representatives are to please be property owners and ratepayers within their affected areas. Representation will be sought from the Homeowners Association of the Residential Estates in the affected areas as well.

A meeting with the representatives will be arranged for the week of the 20th of May 2024.
